Are you all jazzed up? You should be because the initial Jacksonville Jazz Fest lineup announcement was released today and the main act is turning heads.
Gladys Knight, known as the "Empress of Soul", will be headlining the May festival.
Knight is best known for her early R&B roots but has branched off into many other genres. This seven-time Grammy winner has enjoyed #1 hits in pop, R&B and Adult Contemporary, and has triumphed in film, television and live performance.
The festival will be May 23 - 26, 2019 with three stages of live entertainment, local food, drinks, shopping and more in Downtown Jacksonville.
For over 30 years the Jazz Fest has become one of the largest jazz festivals in the country offering a fun and vibrant street festival atmosphere and this year you can experience it throughout 15 blocks of downtown.
