St. Augustine's favorite seafood festival makes a splash next March

They expect more than 25,000 people to attend next year's event.

The festival starts on Friday, March 20 at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m. and on Sunday, March 22 at 11 a.m.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival has announced the dates for their next event. The long-time fan favorite will be bringing tons of delicious seafood to Francis Field next year.

The St. Augustine Lions Club has hosted the event since 1981, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charitable organizations. They expect more than 25,000 people to attend next year's event.

The biggest draw for the festival? Seafood, and lots of it.

There will also be live music, kiddie rides, an Arts and Crafts village and family fun activities.

The festival starts on Friday, March 20 at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m. and on Sunday, March 22 at 11 a.m. 

There will be free parking and shuttle buses off site to help elevate parking issues around Francis Field. 

Admission to the event is only $5! Food from a variety of vendors will be available for purchase, prices ranging from $3 for non-seafood items up to $25 for the pricier seafood.
