JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- If you score that big interview, you don't want to fumble and do something that could cost you the job.
Candace Moody, vice president of communications for WorkSource, illustrates, with the help of First Coast News' Lewis Turner and Jeannie Blaylock, what you should and should not do during an interview.

- Do NOT forget about the receptionist. Moody said "the interview actually starts in the lobby," and the receptionist is observing you to see if you will be a good fit for the organization.
- DO stand up when the interviewer walks in the room. Just good manners, Moody said.
- Do NOT sit down before the interviewer invites you to. This also falls under good manners.
- Do NOT forget to silence your cellphone.
- DO make eye contact with the person interviewing you. Moody said if making direct eye contact is difficult for you, look at a spot just above their eye.
- Do NOT state salary goals right up front.
- DO make sure your hand shake is not too tight.
