JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Just be glad you've got a job. How many times have you heard that one over the past few years? Well, things are starting to change, now that the economy is starting to improve and the job market is getting better. That means your chances of getting a bonus or a pay raise are also getting much better.
According to a new survey of Human Resource directors, one of the biggest concerns employers have for 2012 is keeping their top talent. So, now they are more willing to offer higher salaries and/or make a nice counter-offer just to try and keep you. The survey also found that many employees who felt like they gave up a lot during the recession by working longer hours, taking furloughs, and no pay raises are now trying to move on.
So, whether you are trying to move on, or just trying to find "a good job" here's what I found today in my weekly job search.
The University of Florida Healthcare system has at least 6 openings from Administrative Director to Phlebotomist. Ring Power needs some HR Managers in St. Augustine. Those jobs and more can be found on the WorkSource website. Make sure to click on Employ Florida and then Find A Job.
