JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Despite the not-so-good jobs report last week showing that the jobless rate rose to 9.2 percent in June, there are companies hiring on the First Coast!
So, here's a look at Where the Jobs Are! On the jobnewsjax website I found that Internline Brands is hiring Sales Professionals. Digital Risk is looking for Underwriters and Mortgage Professionals. Ameri-Force is hiring those with a skilled trade.
In the transportation area, I found quite a few new opportunities. Eva Transport is looking for owner-operators, company drivers, a dispatcher and a semi-truck mechanic.
Gwen's trucking is hiring owner-operators, and so is Roadlink.
On WorkSource, I found another transportation company that is hiring truck drivers; it's EDT.
And, there was an education position available at Episcopal Children's for a Manager, School Readiness.
Also on WorkSource, there is a virtual job fair that starts today and lasts through the 15th. It's being done in partnership with FSCJ. This a 24-hour virtual job fair.
