KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, FL--The Clay Electric Cooperative is warning customers that Hurricane Jeanne could have a serious impact on the 15 counties in their service area.
The Co-op's director of public relations says potential outages from Jeanne could last longer than outages from Frances.
They warn restoration efforts could be slow because fewer crews from other parts of Florida and nearby states may not be available.
The Co-op also says supplies they'd need for repairs may be harder to find because of all the repairs after the recent storms.
Customers who want to report an outage can call 1-888-434-9844.
