JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --I'm meteorologist Mike Prangley. The rain has moved east and the bright blue skies are moving in on the heels of a blustery northwest wind today. Lake wind advisories are in effect and small craft advisories in effect near shore. Gale warnings well offshore with gusts near 40 mph. Highs today will be in the lower to middle 60s with a northwest wind at 20 to 30 mph.
Tonight freeze warnings, hard freeze warnings, and wind chill advisories are expected with our coldest night in five weeks. So we hope all who want to help support FINISHING BREAST CANCER WILL STAY WARM. For the runners there will be no overheating this year!
