Weather - Your 2 Minute Advantage

Jacksonville, Florida Weather Forecast

12:29 PM, May 26, 2012

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -I'm meteorologist Mike Prangley. Subtropical storm Beryl is now approximately 300 miles east northeast of Jacksonville and is moving west southwest at 5 mph. Maximum sustained winds are 45 mph with higher gusts. The pressure is 1001 mb. This tropical storm is still expected to make landfall in our viewing area by Sunday evening. The chances of a direct landfall here at home is 65% and increasing.

Preparations should include securing loose objects in your yard, trimming large tree limbs, and if  you live in a mobile home make plans to go to a more sturdy structure or a friend's house. Wind and rain will increase during the day Sunday with wind gusts near 60 mph possible by Sunday evening. Heavy rain and a storm surge will likely cause flooding in lowland areas. Stay with your local weather team for the latest. Chief Meteorologist Tim Deegan, and meteorologists Steve Smith, Lew Turner and I will continue to bring you updates around the clock and have your two minute advantage. This is still a developing storm.

Boston Legal, a legal dramedy, aired on ABC and won five Emmy awards. The series starred James Spader and featured Candice Bergen and Julie Bowen.

Why it's gone -- and what was its legacy: The show had to fight for a fifth and final season of 13 episodes, due to ratings struggles and cast fluctuations.
