JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The 2013 Martin Luther King Jr. holiday parade is set to kick off in downtown Jacksonville at 10 a.m.
Traffic will be diverted around the parade route from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. The parade will assemble at Jefferson Street and Water Street between 8 a.m.-9:45 a.m.

Here is the parade route and the resulting temporary road closures:
• The parade will go east on Water Street to Independent Drive.
• The parade will turn left on Newnan Street and proceed one block north to Bay Street.
• The procession will make a right turn on Bay Street and proceed east to Gator Bowl Way.
• The parade will end at EverBank Field's Parking Lot "J".
