ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol is forecasting heavy traffic congestion for motorists traveling southbound on Interstate 95 north of State Road 16, due to holiday shoppers.

The slow moving traffic is being attributed to the outlet malls located near exit 318 at State Road 16 on Interstate 95, according to a release from the FHP.

Motorists are asked to use caution when approaching State Road 16, or to possibly consider using an alternate route, FHP said.
