SUV crashes through North Main Street store

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An SUV crashed through a hardware store on North Main Street early Tuesday morning.

An Olde Time Hardware in the 3700 block of N Main Street was damaged after a white Ford Explorer crashed through an exterior wall. According to police with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the driver of the SUV was traveling Northbound on Main Street and was attempting to make a left turn to West 28th Street. The driver failed to yield to traffic traveling Southbound and was struck by another car, forcing the SUV driver into the hardware store.

No injuries have been reported and charges are pending against the driver of the SUV.

The business, located a block away from Andrew Jacksonville High School, has been in Jacksonville for 60 plus years.
