Road closures, flooding, traffic crashes Monday

Rain and slick roads caused headaches for most First Coast commuters trying to get around Monday.

10:17 a.m. - Due to flooding McCoys Creek Boulevard from Cherokee to Stockton Street was closed along with one Eastbound lane in the 10600 block of 103rd Street.

9:35 a.m. - Two Eastbound lanes of Union Street and one lane of North Ocean Street were closed after a crash involving a mini-van and a dark colored Gran Marquis sent one to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

7:43 a.m. - Two lanes of Interstate 95 Southbound South of Airport was closed due to an accident.

7:08 a.m. - The Northbound entrance ramp to Interstate 95 at Atlantic Boulevard was closed due to reported traffic accident. The road re-opened at 7:49 a.m.

5:59 a.m. - The Northbound left lane of at Atlantic Boulevard was closed due to a reported accident with injuries.
