JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- I-295 northbound is shut down at Wlson Blvd. due to an accident involving a semi.
The Florida Highway Patrol says six vehicles were involved in the wreck including at least two trucks. One of the trucks is hauling 2800 gallons of fuel that must be pumped out before the truck can be removed.
Hazardous materials crews are on the scene due to a fuel leak.
Nortbound traffic is being diverted on to 103rd street. Southbound traffic has re-opened after being shut down.
Rescue crews tell First Coast News this could take several hours to clean up.
Four people were taken to local hospitals with what are being described as serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
