All northbound and southbound lanes of US-301 near Gilridge Road had been shut down Sunday night following a gas tanker truck fire. Monday morning, all lanes remained open.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reported the incident before 8 p.m. A little after 9 p.m., JSO said it expected lanes to remain closed until about midnight.
A tweet by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said Baldwin crews extinguished the fire quickly. No injuries were reported.
