PALM BEACH, Fla. - A bank robbery suspect is behind bars after being tracked by U.S. Marshal's and arrested Monday.
William Carl Styffe, 32, is accused of robbing a St. Johns County Compass Bank location September 2.
Styffe allegedly approached a female teller and demanded money, according to a release from the St. John's County Sheriff's Office.
Styffe fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A witness to the robbery took down the tag number of the vehicle Styffe allegedly used to flee the scene.
Styffe is also a suspect in a Volusia County bank robbery and an attempted bank robbery in Flagler County late last month as detectives in those counties continue their investigation.
Styffe was tracked to South Florida and was located by the U.S. Marshal's and taken into custody.
