BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. -- A traffic stop leads to an arrest in connection to a home invasion robbery.
On June 7, a resident in Starke, Florida, was robbed at gun point while a man and women stole thousands of dollars worth of Jewelry, a Bradford County press release detailed.
Deputy John Albritton stopped a vehicle on June 25. The driver, Joshua Knapp, had a suspended license. After arresting Knapp, 24, Deputy Albritton searched the vehicle and found a jewelry box, which was stolen from a residence in Keystone Heights, Florida.
The suspect is charged with the Keystone Heights burglary.
The release said during questioning Knapp allegedly reveled he was involved in a home invasion in Starke. He also allegedly identified the accomplice as Marie Ann Stokes, 23.
Stokes was arrested by the Bunnell Police Department around 9:30 p.m. and may have turned herself in after learning she was wanted by law enforcement.
She is being held on $200,000 bond and will be returned to Bradford County if she cannot post bond.
