NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. -- Police activity has lessened
but remains consistent in the North Attleboro neighborhood of Patriots
tight end Aaron Hernandez.
Hernandez left his home in his Audi SUV with very dark tinted
windows around 11 o'clock Thursday morning, heading towards Gillette
Stadium. He had been inside his house since Wednesday.
A State Police helicopter was hovering over the Hernandez house
and police were on the ground as well. According to neighbors police
investigators were asking them if they had any surveillance video.
Later Thursday afternoon a couple of women arrived at the
Hernandez house. One stopped to grab the mail on her way into the
driveway. The car had Connecticut plates and they two women grabbed some
stuff from inside before heading in through the garage door.
It remains unclear why Hernandez left his home to go to Gillette
Stadium. A source inside Gillette told 7News Patriots owner Bob Kraft
was not at the stadium Thursday, nor was head coach Bill Belichick. The
coaches and team had the day off.
