MACCLENNY, Fla. -- Trees fell on two homes in Baker County during severe storms on Thursday afternoon.
At a home in the 400 block of South 7th Street, one person was injured by a fallen tree and transported to the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, according to a release from Baker County Sheriff Joey Dobson.
Another home in the 400 block of North 5th Street was damaged, but the home's residents were not there when the tree fell.
The residents of the two homes who have been displaced by the fallen trees have been offered assistance by the American Red Cross.
Most damage in Macclenny, including downed power lines, has been isolated to South 6th Street and South 5th Street, Dobson said.
No other injuries were reported.
