MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- Colin Barton's creekside property has turned into lakefront property.
His stepping stones are now three feet under water and his patio set
is floating in water after two days worth of rain.
"I thought about putting sandbags and things like that but as fast as the water moves, I didn't see the point."

Instead, Barton and two of his friends spent Friday afternoon moving his jet skis to the front of the house in hopes they wouldn't float away.
The 23-year-old has only lived along Black Creek for four months
and while this is his first time experiencing a flood, he said he's not leaving until there's water in his house.
"Hopefully rain goes away. It needs to go somewhere else but here," Barton said.
