LAKE CITY, Fla. -- According to the Lake City Police Department, law officials have not made an arrest in the armed robbery and murder that took place at the A&M Discount Beverage store, located at 394 SE Duval Street on April 27, 2012.
The suspects in this incident fled the scene after shooting and killing 55-year-old Rajni Patel, owner of the store. Patel's wife, Daxa Patel was present during the robbery and was not harmed.
The investigators identified one of the suspects as James Leonard Johnson and on May 19th 2012, Johnson was arrested.
According to the police release, the second suspect has been identified as Ernest Larry Grandison and officials have not been able to locate him. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Grandison for felony murder in the first degree and robbery.
An award up to $10,000 is being offered for credible information leading to a successful arrest and prosecution of Ernest Larry Grandison.
