CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- Detectives are searching for leads after a 14-cars burglary spree swept through the Oakleaf area in a matter of days, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
The burglaries were reported from March 7 to 9 and mostly occurred in residential areas, which included the subdivisions of Worthington Oaks, Highland Mill and Silver Leaf.
According to CCSO spokesperson Mary Justino, thousands of dollars in damage was done to the cars and thousands of dollars worth of property were stolen from the cars.
Investigators believe a white 2000-05 Cadillac DeVille with a beige top and solid chrome wheels was possibly involved in the burglaries.
Justino said several of the stolen credit cards were reportedly used in Jacksonville.
