MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- A Middleburg woman was killed Saturday while her husband was backing out of their driveway according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.

It happened in the 3400 block of Alec Drive in the Mayfield subdivision.

Clay County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Mary Justino said Nola Collier, 58, and her husband, Brooks Collier, were arguing before he left their house and got into a car.

According to Justino, it was a domestic dispute between the two and the husband said he was going to leave. Mrs. Collier chased after the vehicle and the car struck her near the end of the driveway.

Brooks Collier has been arrested for leaving the scene of the accident.

The accident was reported shortly after 8:30 p.m.

Justino said at this time it's believed the accident was unintentional.

The Clay County Traffic Homicide Unit is conducting a full investigation to rule out foul play.
