JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has charged two men in a December 2012 murder.

Marcus Lamont Brown, 18 has been charged with murder, robbery and kidnapping in the death of 28-year-old Andronicus Williams. Brown was in jail on an unrelated charge when he was interviewed, Lt. Rob Schoonover said.

Williams' body was found in a lot early in the morning on December 26 near E. 27th Street and Evergreen Avenue, according to Sgt. T.K. Waters with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. He had gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

Brown implicated19-year-old Eric Hill in the crime. Hill admitted that he was there, but denied involvement in the crime. He was charged with accessory after the fact.

The motive in the crime appeared to be robbery, according to Schoonover. Brown and Williams had made contact the day before.
