JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible road rage incident that has left one man dead. Police responded to the 4300 block of Dunn Avenue around 7:45 p.m. to a report of shots fired, according to Sgt. Jay Farhat with the JSO homicide unit. Police found 41-year-old Thomas Schadowski dead in a pickup truck with a single gunshot wound. A utility trailer was attached to the pickup truck, which veered off the road and into woods off of Dunn Avenue.
Dunn Avenue between Interstate 295 and North Campus Boulevard is currently blocked, according to JSO.
No suspect information is available yet, Farhat said, and JSO officers are still canvassing the scene.
