WASHINGTON, D.C. -- An Army Sergeant stationed in South Korea is getting a chance to take part in the festivities at the Commander-in-Chief Ball in Washington, D.C.

Sgt. Matthew Theilacker, a Jacksonville native, will appear on a live feed at the inaugural ball where Vice President Joe Biden is expected to speak to him and other service members.

The Commander-in-Chief Ball is open to members of the military and their guests. President George W. Bush organized the first ball in 2005, and the tradition has continued since then.
