JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville man accused of murdering his girlfriend pleaded not guilty in court on Wednesday.
Prince Sanders, 27, pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and possession of weapon or ammunition by a convicted Florida felon.
Earlier this month, Jacksonville Sheriff's Officers say Sanders shot Telia Toaltoan at her Riverside Apartment.
Investigators believe the shooting was related to a domestic dispute the night before.
Officers responded to the apartment after an alleged beating but no report was filed, prompting JSO to launch an internal investigation.
