JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office aggravated battery unit is investigating a shooting that took place in the 2500 block of Wylene Street on Thursday evening.
A 34-year-old woman was shot in the abdomen outside of a home, according to Detective Von Eiff with JSO.
The woman was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No one was taken into custody. The shooting is believed to be related to a domestic incident, but JSO is investigating, Von Eiff said.
