The Florida Highway Patrol is urging motorists traveling on US 90 near the Baker/Columbia County line to use caution due to smoke in the area from a brush fire.

FHP also said motorists should use caution near Queen Road and Senior Court due to smoke issues caused by a brush fire.

CURRENT TRAFFIC CONDITIONS

FHP said they are monitoring the areas of US 90 and I-10 at the county line for possible smoke issues that could impact safe travel.

They are cautioning that visibility may deteriorate quickly due to smoke/fog conditions especially during the night time hours.

FHP is asking drivers in reduced visibility to slow their speed and turn on their low beam headlights.
