JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two men are recovering from gunshot wounds and one man is dead after a deadly shootout on the Northside Thursday evening.
Lt. Rob Schoonover with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the 3 people knew each other and the shooting was part of an "ongoing dispute."
2 of the men were found in the street on West 26th. One of them is in critical condition. The injuries of the other man are not considered to be life-threatening.
The other victim, identified by JSO Public Information Officer Melissa Bujeda on Friday as Michael Anthony Seymour, 25, was found wounded in his car on Stuart Street. He later died.
Police are now trying to track down witnesses to gather more information.
