JACKSONVILLE, FL. -- Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) will make a stop on the First Coast today. His visit is part of the Veterans for Romney Bus Tour of Florida.
In addition to Jacksonville, the bus tour will visit Tampa and Orlando, according to a news release from the Romney campaign.
The bus tour will focus on veterans. The release from the Romney campaign states there are approximately 1.6 million veterans in the sunshine state.
Sen. McCain's first visit will be at the University of Tampa at 10:15 a.m. After that he will speak at the Romney Victory Office in Casselberry near Orlando.
The Jacksonville event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and will take place at the Allied Veterans Center located at 40 Acme Street.
The release did not include information on tickets or attendance.
