TAMPA -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott held a noon briefing Sunday saying that currently "we have a big concern about flooding" in the Panhandle area due to the ground still being saturated from Tropical Storm Debby.

He briefed the media saying the Keys were now feeling Tropical Storm Isaac's effect. Scott said there is an anticipation of outages and crews have been deployed. So far he said there were a few minor outages in South Florida.

Representatives from Tampa's police department, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the National Guard were among those with Scott. He added the National Guard is ready to provide more assistance to Florida if needed.

Scott suggested visitors to Tampa Bay's area beaches say put for now but said "I'm very hopeful the RNC will have a great convention." For now, the governor is still urging caution.

Scott also said Florida will be ready to help other states should Isaac strike west of Florida.
