Sunday marks the final day of the 30th Olympiad. As the 2012 London Olympics wind down, here is a list of what you can watch on WTLV-NBC 12.
6 a.m. - 9 a.m. Men's Marathon -- After the untimely death of Beijing gold-medal winner Sammy Wanjiru in 2011, the field is open. Team USA has a chance for its first men's Marathon gold in 40 years behind Meb Keflezighi, the 2004 silver medalist and winner of the Olympic trials and 2009 New York Marathon.
10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Men's Basketball - USA vs. Spain -- A rematch of the 2008 gold-medal game, won by Team USA. A victory would give the United States its 14th gold and 17th medal in men's Basketball. Team USA's average victory margin in London is 35.7 points. Spain, a two-time silver medalist, advanced by rallying from 11 down at halftime to beat Russia in a semifinal on Friday.
12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. - Men's Water Polo - Croatia vs. Italy -- It's been 16 years since Croatia or Italy have medaled in men's Water
Polo. At Atlanta, Croatia lost out on gold to Spain, but earned its
first medal in the sport. Italy took bronze, its sixth medal all-time.
The Italian stunned favored Serbia to reach the final in London.
2:45 p.m. - 4 p.m. - Wrestling -- Freestyle finals in Wrestling in the 66kg and 96kg classes.
4 p.m. - 6 p.m. - Men's Volleyball - Russia vs. Brazil -- A clash of the world's top two men's Volleyball teams. Top-ranked Brazil
again goes for gold after losing in four sets to the USA in 2004.
Russia won silver in 2000 and bronzes in '04 and '08, but the former
Soviet Union hasn't taken gold since 1980.
7 p.m. - 10:58 p.m. - NBC Primetime -- The 2012 London Games conclude with the Closing Ceremony from Olympic Stadium.
