JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- City employees will soon be able to start filing flexible spending account reimbursement claims again.

On Monday, city employees were informed that the city has signed a contract with a new company, WageWorks.

City employees had not been able to access their flexible spending accounts because the company administering the accounts, EBS Atlanta, was experiencing system failure.

Those affected should be able to file a claim for reimbursement from claims filed with EBS soon, and any employees who need that money now can request an emergency salary advance.
