JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Third party engineers began an eleventh round of fire suppression system tests this morning at the New Duval County Courthouse.
The tests began around 4:00 a.m. and according to Jacksonville Fire Rescue Chief Martin Senterfitt, will take several hours to complete.
Engineers were working on upper floors of the building this morning surveying elements of the system.
"As long as the stairwells and the elevator shafts pass, then we can consider temporary occupancy," said Senterfitt.
