JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- We broke a 19 year old record in Jacksonville on Thursday. We hit 83 degrees, which breaks the previous high temperature record of 82 set back in 1994.
A dome of high pressure remains over us, bring the warm temps and sunshine... while other parts of the country get hit with devastating ice and snow storms.
The near record heat will continue the next few days as well. We will have minimal rain chances and highs in the low 80s through the weekend.
We don't have a significant chance of rain until early next week.
