JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -I'm meteorologist Mike Prangley. Tracking thunderstorms into the late evening. Nothing severe but not to be taken lightly. Over 200 lightning strikes per hour are moving southeast across the river and will impact southern Duval and St.Johns Counties.

Putnam and Flagler Counties will also have a thunderstorm threat before midnight.  Wind gusts of 40 mph and heavy rain will also accompany these thunderstorms that have been stoked by an upper-disturbance colliding with our inland sea-breeze storms.
