FORT MYERS, FL (AP) -- Fort Myers police say 24 men lured to a house with promises of sex with teens were arrested on charges of soliciting a child over the Internet.
The men, ranging in age from 21 to 61, brought computers, roses, alcohol and condoms to the southwest Florida house last weekend where police and a correspondent from NBC's "Dateline" were waiting. One man brought a rope and duct tape. Another stripped off his clothes. None of the men were listed in Florida's sex offender registry.
The men were snared by a Perverted-Justice, a national group that trolls for predators in teen Internet chat rooms. The group has joined with "Dateline" to videotape stings for the show's "To Catch a Predator" feature.
NBC says the Fort Myers footage will be aired sometime in May.
