This weekend will only be a brief break in our extremely cold pattern with even a chance of snow, sleet and freezing rain by late Tuesday night.
Happy Weekend! Tonight a few more clouds around the area will keep temperatures a little warmer with only a light freeze possible mainly north and west of Jacksonville. Lows will be near 32. The beach and areas along the river will hold in the middle to upper 30s.
Saturday will bring two seasons in one day. A cold start gives way to increasing sunshine and highs about 20 degrees warmer than Friday in the lower to middle 60s. Enjoy it while you can as clouds thicken Sunday, and rain returns Monday ahead of our next cold blast.
By Tuesday night and Wednesday morning we cannot rule out a mixed bag of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. Stay tuned to FCN.
