ATLANTA -- Several air carriers have extended flexible arrangements for passengers who may be affected by the severe winter weather across the Southeast this week.
Southwest Airlines says travelers flying through Atlanta, Charlotte, Greenville-Spartanburg or Raleigh-Durham on Tuesday, February 11 or Wednesday, February 12, are eligible to reschedule their flights in accordance with Southwest's accommodation procedures, which allows them to change their travel dates and/or flight times at no additional charge.

Delta Air Lines said Monday night that more than 500 flights across their system had already been canceled for Tuesday due to the approaching storm.
The air carrier says passengers flying to, from or through Atlanta, Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Greenville, Huntsville, Norfolk or Raleigh between February 11 and February 13 may make changes to their itinerary.

United Airlines says passengers flying through Ashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Chattanooga, Columbia, Greensboro, Greenville/Spartanburg, Huntsville, Knoxville, Nashville, Norfolk and Raleigh/Durham may be able to modify their flights due to this week's winter weather. Original travel dates are between February 11 and February 12.
The carrier says fees for same-day flight changes are waived within 24 hours of the original departure time. For other changes, the change fee would be waived, but there may be a difference in fare pricing. For details, flyers should contact United.com.
American Airlines says they will offer passengers traveling through airports in the Southeast -- including Atlanta -- the capability to change their travel plans if their travel was scheduled between February 11 and February 13. Tickets must have been issued no later than February 10.
