BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- It's a new era at Glynn Academy and the Red Terrors are hoping for a new result this Friday in the Crosstown Showdown against Brunswick High School.

Glynn Academy has lost 7 of the last 8 matchups in this rivalry, but they have a new coach this year in Rocky Hidalgo. He comes from Walton High School in Marietta, and he says it didn't take long for him to learn about this rivalry.

"When I got here, the first thing I heard from somebody was beat Brunswick, so it's really important," said Hidalgo. "We're going to respect the tradition and make a big game of it. We just brought in a new attitude. We want the kids to have a good time and enjoy playing football and we want to play with great effort and enthusiasm."
