JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Raines High School junior offensive lineman Solomon Kindley is known for bringing the heat on the football field, but what you may not know is he also enjoys watching over youngsters who are in the pool.

Affectingly named, "The Big Fish," Kindley has been a lifeguard at Raines High School for many years. This summer he spent many hours at the pool earning some extra cash for school clothes and to help with bills at his home. During most of the break he worked every day of the week in order to help his family.

'The Big Fish' was a member of a local swim team as a kid and he credits that swimming experience with why he wanted to become a lifeguard.
