JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Oakleaf Knights High School football team is entering its third season under head coach Derek Chipoletti's leadership.

In Chipoletti's first year at the helm, the Knights had their first winning season in the school's existence. Last year, Oakleaf took a step back winning just four games. Coach Chipoletti says there's never been a lack of talent at Oakleaf, it's just been their inability to buy in. So, this year he decided to take a different approach in the off-season. He wants to develop his young men into good people, in hopes that will translate on the football field.

Linebacker Shaquille Quarterman (verbally committed to the University of Miami), defensive back Chris Westry (verbally committed to Auburn) are among the key returning play makers that the Knights will heavily rely on.
