My Experience at THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP:

Day 1 at THE PLAYERS Championship was nothing short of amazing. Before I relocated to Jacksonville, I had heard all about this tournament. I had read about it and watched it on TV. But nothing, absolutely nothing compares to experiencing it first-hand.

After taking in the sights, beautiful sights might I add, I had to get to work. My first assignment was covering Sergio Garcia's visit with the kids from the McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation. After a quick Q&A session with the youngsters, Garcia joined the kids in a friendly game of putt-putt golf. The kids were in awe to spend some time with a "real life golfer" as one boy put it.

I left there. Made a quick pit stop at the media center. Then I was off to get a taste of THE PLAYERS. I went around with WTLV's web-extraordinaire Travis Gibson and visited three main food stops at the tournament, snapping photos for Twitter and Instagram...#teamsideline. We made our rounds at Trucks on 10, Taste of Jax, and Tacos on 12. The variety is spectacular. From sushi to tacos, BBQ to mac-and-cheese, you name it, THE PLAYERS has it.

I will be featuring a TASTE of THE PLAYERS on Friday.
