Tallahassee Police say a man was stabbed five times while he and another man had sex in the Oakland Cemetery last month.
Devante L. Johnson, 18, is now facing a charge of attempted murder.
The victim said he met Johnson in the cemetery about 11 p.m. on June 24 to have sex. He said while the two were in the act, "the suspect referred to a former boyfriend of (the victim's) by name and said no one would have to worry about (the victim) anymore," court documents said. The suspect, later identified as Johnson, started stabbing him repeatedly. The victim was able to kick Johnson out of the car and lock the door. The victim then drove out of the cemetery crashing his car through the cemetery's fence at 4th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The victim flagged down police in the area of Dewey and Rollins streets and told him he was stabbed. He was then taken to a local hospital for treatment.
