FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A semi rig containing 180,000 eggs was reported stolen today from behind a 7-11 store where the truck had been parked.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office said the driver of the truck, Joseph Carlisle of Fort Myers, told deputies he had parked the blue Volvo semi with a white Great Dane refrigerated trailer and Pennsylvania plates behind a 7-11 store at 15261 Convenience Way in Fort Myers. He last checked on it at 10 a.m. Sunday.

He said when he returned at 11:30 p.m. Sunday the truck, and the 180,000 eggs inside, were gone.

Deputies say there is no cameras at the scene that could see the truck or when it had been taken.
