SANFORD, Fla. — Sanford Police said two cocaine traffickers were hiding some of their drugs in a fake Coca-Cola can.
Officers said they pulled over Jeremy Nixon and Shelby Allen for a minor traffic violation around 4 p.m. Wednesday. When police got to the vehicle it allegedly smelled like marijuana, prompting the officers to search the vehicle.
Police said they found 3 ounces of cocaine hydrochloride hidden in the false bottom of a starch aerosol bottle, 8 grams of cocaine hydrochloride in the false top of a can of Coca-Cola, several plastic containers containing cannabis, drug paraphernalia and $1,864.
Nixon and Allen were charged with cocaine trafficking, marijuana possession and possession of drug equipment.
Both are being held at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility.
