HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. – The toddler injured when a police flash-bang grenade exploded in his playpen is set to head home.

Bounkham "Bou Bou" Phonesavanh suffered severe burns to his face and chest after deputies tossed a flash bang grenade into his playpen during a botch drug raid in Habersham County on May 28.

The family will hold a "Farewell Breakfast for Bou Bou" at 9 a.m. on Wednesday at Delightful Eatz on Edgewood Avenue SE in Atlanta. The family is preparing to return to their home state of Wisconsin.

Federal and state officials have launched investigations into the botched drug raid.
