BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- Leigh Langford is a mom in Brunswick, Georgia, who is willing to say that being bald is not really her thing.
Beautiful bald or with hair, Leigh is trying to find the humor in it all.
Her daughters make clever signs to bring a smile. Also, they have rallied people to make Langford soft caps with sayings, such as, "Fight like a girl!" Others have her initials.
Now Langford would like others to help make more caps and give them to breast cancer patients.
If you like to sew or would just like to help, here's Langford's contact info:

Langford is the first recipients of the free Buddy Check Backpack, which is worth $130. The backpack contains items such as a soft blanket to a book with advice written by Georgia residents, Lucy Barlow and Sharon Crews. The survivors have stuffed the backpacks full of helpful items, even ginger candy to fight nausea.
The Buddy Check Backpack project is a joint effort among Barlow, Crews, Baptist Medical Center and FCN.
