Mayport, Fla. -- Casino cruises are returning to the First Coast with Victory Casino Cruises preparing to launch the Victory II in mid-June.

Work is underway preparing a building dockside for the 229 foot ship that is currently being renovated for twice daily, seven day a week cruises. The ship can accommodate more than 600 people.

"We will probably spend upwards of $10 million a year for goods and services," said Lester Bullock who is heading up the local cruise operation. He already has a casino ship in Port Canaveral where the Victory 1 is the largest casino ship in the United States according the Victory Casino Cruises.

The ship will offer dining, entertainment and an assortment of games including 17 live tables including craps, blackjack and roulette. The casino will also have 300 slot machines.

This weekend Mayport's newest business will have a job fair since it needs to hire at least 200 people. The fair will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton in Jacksonville Beach on May 16 and 17. The job fair will begin each morning at 10 a.m.
