JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The trial of Michael Dunn has been buzzing on national and local level and on social media for two weeks. Now that the verdict has been announced, Twitter has been taken by storm.
Michael Dunn was found guilty of three counts of second degree attempted murder and one count of throwing or shooting a deadly missile at an occupied vehicle in the shooting death of 17-year-old Jordan Davis in November of 2012 during an argument that allegedly started over loud music. The charge of first degree murder ended in mistrial.

Jacksonville's Mayor Alvin Brown did not tweet about the trial, but released a statement Saturday night after the verdict was announced.
"Now that the jury has spoken, I want to thank the jurors for their dedicated service. Tomorrow would have been Jordan's 19th birthday. My prayers go out to his family. I share the community's grief at his senseless death.
"We should never forget the tragic loss of a young life, and we must commit to doing all we can to protect all of our young men and women and to help them realize their full potential."
