The numbers assigned to 16 jurors who decided the fate of Michael Dunn in the shooting death of Jordan Davis.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- During the Michael Dunn trial, Judge Russell Healey ran through the revised juror numbers, clarifying for the first time which of the original pool of 62 corresponded with the re-assigned juror numbers of 1-16.
Because the court reassigned numbers of the selected jurors the day of jury selection, it was initially clear which of the original 62 occupied which seat. Based on First Coast News juror tracking efforts and today's clarification, the following appears to be the breakdown of jurors.
(Note, this assumes the first 12 are primary jurors, and the last 4 alternates. We are awaiting confirmation. Based on that clarification and those assumptions, the jury appears to be comprised of 5 men (one of whom appears Hispanic) and 7 women (2 African Americans, and one Asian American).
